Established in 1972, operating a single bus service over Kirkstone Pass, Mountain Goat (incorporating Park Tours & Travel) today operates a whole range of holidays, tours and Private Hire services.

Located in the heart of the English Lake District there is a wide choice of fun-filled and exhilarating guided sightseeing tours throughout the Lake District’s renowned spectacular scenery and landscapes. For 2010 improved routes and itineraries have been created to offer the customer an enhanced experience and encounter the area’s hidden gems they never knew existed.

Mountain Goat are continuously exploring and reaching the remote areas of the Lake District large and therefore offer a unique opportunity to get “off the beaten track” and discover the most beautiful corner of England. We pride ourselves on personal and professional service whist providing quality vehicles, excellent value for money and more importantly a memorable experience for our customers. 

2010 marked Mountain Goats 39^th Season of Operation. With already a firm recognition as the Lake District’s specialist Tour Operator Mountain Goat was proudly short listed for ‘Minibus Operator Of The Year’ at the Route One Operator Excellence Awards and was honored ‘Highly Commended’
