      The tour will depart at 9am from outside York Minister in the centre of York. The estimated time of arrival back at York Minister is 17.30.

    • Leaving York the tour heads to the famous Ilkley Moor, which is known for being the inspiration for the Yorkshire ‘county anthem’ – On Ilkla Moor Baht ‘at (‘on Ilkley moor without a hat’). There will be time to take in the views and a stop for photos.

      From here we drive to our next stop, the beautiful cobbled village of Haworth, which is known for its association with the Bronte Sisters. There is also chance to see the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, and time to go into the Bronte Parsonage (opening times may vary, entry extra).

       The tour heads to Bolton Abbey. There is time to view the ruins and take in the surrounding Landscapes which inspired famous artists such as Wordsworth, Ruskin and Turner. 

      ​Before returning to York you'll stop at Pateley Bridge, here there are coffee shops and local shops to browse or take an optional gentle stroll along the River Nidd. 

      From here we then travel back to our start point in York for roughly 17:30.
    • Tour Type
      This tour is a guided scenic mini-coach tour, but there are times when you will have the option to walk up to a few hundred metres to take in a view or point of interest.  
      Clothing & Footwear
      We suggest you wear comfortable and sensible footwear, we also recommend bringing a light raincoat.
