Privacy Policy

Privacy refers to the information we obtain about you and the use we make of it.  This privacy statement refers to www.mountain-goat.com.  We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any site that we may provide a link too. 
What information do we gather?
When you visit our site we only gather the information we need to provide the service you have requested.  Therefore if you request a brochure we need a name and address to post the information too, plus a contact, phone or email, in case the address is inadvertently removed from the mailing list at any time. We may also collect the domain names of visitors to our site.  This information is used for analysis only. 
What do we do with the information we gather?
The information we gather is used for Mountain Goat purposes only.  We do not pass your details on to a third party.  We may use the information you give us to contact you again either by email or other methods to inform you of new tour dates, send you our new holiday brochure, provide you with details of special offers etc.  If you do not wish to receive this information please email tours@mountain-goat.com.  At Mountain Goat, in order to provide the best service possible, we save email correspondence if we think we may need to refer to this correspondence at a later date.

Daily Tour Terms & Conditions

Payment Terms & Routes
All tours must be paid in full prior to departure by either credit/debit card (via the phone/website) or cash by calling in to our office. Please note full payment is required to confirm your booking. Prices and routes are subject to change without notice and we reserve the right to alter tours in the event of severe inclement weather, traffic congestion or for operational reasons.

Please be aware that tours are run to subject to minimum of 4 or 6 passengers dependent on the tour.

Under 5's
We regret our tours are unsuitable for children under 5 years of age. 

Refund policy
Up to 48 hours prior to your tour date you will receive a full refund.
Less than 48 hours prior including date of departure no refund will be given.
If we cancel your tour
As a result of lack of bookings or weather conditions you will be entitled to a full refund.

Lost Property
Mountain Goat are not responsible for any items of property left on our vehicles. Please do not ask the driver/guide to take care of your property whlist you are away from the coach. For items that are left on the coach at the end of the day, if found and claimed, we are happy to return them at customers expense. Please note any unclaimed items will be disposed of after 3 months. 

Luggage Storage 
Due to the landscape of the Lake District our Mini-Coaches have to be small to navigate the narrow roads. Therefore, the majority of our tour buses do not have a luggage storage on board. There are luggage storage facitilies available at Windermere Information Centre, where our tours start from. We can carry small day bags on our buses. 

Third Parties
We include a number of attractions in our tours, however these are operated by third parties and therefore we are not liable for any damages, loss or closures to do with these third parties.
