Ten Lakes Spectacular

The Lake District is renowned for being the “most beautiful corner of England” and this full day tour introduces you to just that. 

Magnificent scenery of the Lakeland fells, valleys and lakes from the south to the north. The tour includes a lake cruise (summer tour only), a visit to the 4,000 year old Castlerigg Stone Circle set high on the fells, and time in Keswick for lunch. 

You travel over passes, through beautiful valleys, see waterfalls and traditional Lakeland villages. You have plenty of stops for admiring the views and taking photographs.

      Departs Daily from Windermere
      The main pick up point is Windermere Tourist Information Centre, however we do offer hotel pick-ups from select accommodation and locations in Windermere, Bowness-on-Windermere, Ambleside & Grasmere. We also offer Kendal pick ups for £5pp (Mon-Sat)

    • On leaving Windermere you will head for a full day out to see Ten of the famous Lake District Lakes including; Windermere, Rydal Water, Grasmere, Thirlmere, Derwent Water, Buttermere, Crummock Water, Bassenthwaite, Ullswater and Brothers Water.  

      This tour is not just about Lakes, you will see some spectacular mountainous scenery, as you travel over the famous Kirkstone and Honister mountain passes, some the highest in the Lake District.

      Visiting the most iconic locations in the Lake District by taking in Grasmere, Keswick, Ullswater and the Borrowdale Valley in one day, this tour offers great value for money.

      Make sure you bring your camera! There will be plenty of opportunities to take those memorable shots to share with your friends and family. 

    • Tour Type
      This tour is a guided scenic mini-coach tour, but there are times when you will have the option to walk up to a few hundred metres to take in a view or point of interest.  
      Lunch Stop
      You will stop in Keswick for approximately 1 hour. There are a number of pubs, cafes, restaurants and sandwich shops located in Keswick. These cater for a wide range of tastes. 
      Lake Cruise 
      We use a number of Lakes for the cruise, this gives us flexibility in case of poor weather. With this in mind, unfortunately we cannot state the location of the Lake cruise in advance. Please note the lake cruise is not available during the Winter version of the tour, between 31 October 2016 to 25 March 2017.
      Clothing & Footwear
      We suggest you wear comfortable and sensible footwear, we also recommend bringing a light raincoat.
